Dunapack Ltd.s role in the reprocessing of waste paper.
Our activity in the collection and reprocessing of waste paper plays a key role in neutralizing and recycling the waste paper serving the clean environment.
In the following diagram* we show our companys share in the domestic turnover: *The figures in the diagram are expressed in thousand tons/year, and refer to 1999. The national figures are estimates for 1999 (based on actual data for 1998 and known market changes).
The diagram shows that most of our products are produced from recycled waste paper.
Our subsidiary company, DUPAREC Ltd., has a share of around 40% in collection of waste paper in Hungary. Dunapack Ltd. processes 85% of waste paper collected in Hungary.
By continuous enlargement of the collection network operated by DUPAREC Ltd., we would like to recycle the highest possible quantity of waste paper. The process of circulation of the waste paper is shown in the diagram (the ratio today is already close to 60%). As a result, the import of waste paper could be reduced and on national level the environmental impact caused by the waste paper could be reduced.
