Corrugated containers for dangerous hospital waste
Across whole Europe, neutralization of dangerous medical waste poses a serious problem. Dunapack Ltd. produces a paper-based collector and transport box, which can replace plastic containers or bags used only once. Appropriately solid cardboard boxes securely protect te fragile platic bag inside from tearing. We have made boxes and containers with capacities of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 40, and 60 litres, in line with the following expectations in the interest of secure use:
- easily and quickly assembled without using any auxiliary instruments,
- easily and securely fastened,
- comply with transport use,
- hold their shape and ensure economic exploitation of space,
- environmentally friendly in nature due to their materials,
- when destroyed, can be burned without producing harmful materials,
- their design provides for enclosing liquids, the internal surfaces of boxes are water-repellant.
Boxes with small capacity and their double covers are die-cut of a single sheet of corrugated board. The first cover has an arrow showing where to throw in and the second provides secure fastening during transport. Larger capacity containers have a separate lid. After the receptacle has been filled, the fold-back edges come together on lids and containers to ensure stable closing.
