Company introduction

Dunapack Ltd. is Hungarys largest company dealing with the production of paper and packaging materials. The company, which includes the Paper Division,the Corrugated Division and the Corrugated and Sack Division Nyregyhza employs 1,290 people, and produces 170,000 tons of paper and 130,000 tons of packaging materials, to a value of almost 170 million US dollars. We have significant interests in companies that produce paper, care of paper rolls and folders and collect and recycle waste paper. The companys most important products are corrugated board base paper and corrugated board products, including printed & multipoint glued boxes, which are also excellent advertisement carriers. Other important products are our sack papers, and the sacks and bags made of natural kraft paper.
Our company places great emphasis on using environmentally friendly technologies, and making as little use as possible of primary resources. Since our company is integrated, we can provide our partners with long-term benefits.
All our units operate in compliance with the International Standardization Organization, ISO 9001, and we were among the first to obtain the integrated certificate in accordance with ISO 14001.
Our market-leading role in Hungary and high export ratio also prove that the company is capable of providing a competitive service, even in the most demanding markets, to all customers from large multinationals to small-producers.

Ownership structure of Dunapack Ltd.

The owner of the company is the Hamburger group, managed by the Austrian industrial entrepreneur, Thomas Prinzhorn. Having played a decisive role in the Hungarian paper manufacturing and converting industry through several decades of experience, an Austro-Hungarian joint venture was established in 1990 and privatized in 1995. The company with a new organizational structure, international background and paper making and converting base operates a modern management system capable of meeting market challenges at the highest level. Our company is one of the largest manufacturers of paper-based packaging materials in Central and Eastern Europe.
