Our exhibitions in 2002
PLOVDIV INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR (13 -19.May )
Thirty-seven Hungarian companies were present at the exhibition, of which Dunapack Rt. Corrugated Division represented the paper packaging industry. A spectacular 30-m2 stand presented almost the complete range of our products, a substantial number of which are consumer goods.
We were delighted to be awarded as part of the exhibition competition, the Gold Medal for the "Best Executed Stand."
Novi Sad Prize ( 11-19.May)
The annual International Agricultural Exhibition is one of Yugoslavia's most prestigious trade fairs, on which our Corrugated Division exhibited its products for the first time.
Fruit and vegetables are prominent in Yugoslavia's exports, and so we focused on packaging for these products. We promoted high-standard flexographic-printed boxes at the exhibition. These are in great demand in the Serbian market.
The highest acclaim went to our greaseproof-coated box developed for packaging bulk margarine. The exhibition organizers honoured this product with the Gold Medal in the Packaging Section.

Our exhibitions in 2001
Plovdiv Spring International Fair (May 7-12)
At the most prestigious Bulgarian trade event, there was great interest towards our products, boxes and sacks, as well as to corrugated board base paper. Within a few days, the pavilion was visited by more than 100 registered interested parties, of whom around 40 can be considered potential future business partners.
During the exhibition, our stand was visited by Petar Zhotev, Bulgarias Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economics.
Zagreb Autumn International Exhibition (17-23 September)
Lively interest again greeted the presence of the Corrugated Division and the Corrugated and Sack Division Nyregyhza at the Zagreb exhibition between 17 and 23 September. We invited guests mainly from Yugoslavia, Bosnia, Slovenia and Italy, on a stand evoking truly Hungarian, village-like surroundings, where our products were presented carrying out their functions as packaging that "fits the goods".
Budatranspack International Packaging Trade Exhibition, Budapest (2-5 October)
We made a successful appearance at the Budatranspack International Material Handling and Packaging Trade Exhibition at the beginning of October. An event that attracts enormous international interest, it involved 152 Hungarian exhibitors - one of them DUNAPACK Rt. - and 35 exhibitors from 8 other countries. Our spectacular stand, covering 200 m2, featured 230 different products, and throughout the duration of the exhibition received some 300 trade visitors and a great many interested members of the public. To our delight, in the PACKPRINT 2001 Packaging Competition held at the exhibition, the corrugated cardboard MELON crate produced by the Corrugated and Sack Division Nyregyhza won the Special Prize awarded by the Office of the Under-Secretary of State for Research and Development at the Ministry of Education. Furthermore, the BB Wine Tasting display and transport box and the 20N1 television box were honoured with certificates of distinction.
Our next appearance at the Budatranspack Packaging and Material Handling Exhibition will be in autumn 2003, since in the future this extremely popular event will be held every two years.
Another successful exhibition abroad
We first exhibited in Yugoslavia at the beginning of December 2001. Our individually-designed and constructed stand excited enormous attention at the Belgrade Food Exhibition. Thanks to thorough preparations by our representative, Predrag Maljkovic, visitors and prospective customers were nearly queuing up at the stand. We signed annual frame agreements with 10 customers for 5 million m2, putting us among the most successful exhibitors. It were the fruit and vegetable boxes, displays and drink packaging that found the most favour among enquirers.
