Hospital Hazardous Waste Container

Disposal of medical hazardous waste poses a serious problem throughout Europe. Dunapack Zrt. makes paper-based collection and transport containers with the right strength to protect the delicate plastic linings from damage.  These boxes and canisters, made with capacities of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 40 and 60 litres:

• assemble easily and quickly, without tools, 
• close securely, 
• on destruction, burn without releasing harmful agents, 
• in some constructions, a waterproof internal surface provides containment of liquids.

Small boxes and their double lids are cut out of single sheets.  The first lid has a slot and the second provides a secure closure for transport.

Larger boxes have separate lids. After the container is full, the fold-over edges on the lid and the box interlock to provide a strong closure.
