Electrical goods

A large proportion of corrugated cases are used for packing electrical goods. This is a very broad category, covering the range from domestic appliances, small agricultural machines and light bulbs to gas cookers, and also including instruments and office, electronic and electrotechnical equipment.

• We design packaging for special appliances consisting of several pieces and produce complete packaging sets made purely of corrugated board or paper-based material. This includes stiffeners, cushioning elements and edge protectors for loading units.
• Besides providing protection, packaging is crucial to the aesthetics of the product. Decorative printing for boxes is provided by direct printing or pre-printed liners.
• Where required, we can produce replacements for plastic or wood packaging elements used by manufacturers. Combined packaging is in an increasingly difficult position owing to higher environmental charges and difficulties in recycling. Figure 2
• To provide impact protection and damp vibration during transport, we offer protective and filler elements made of corrugated board, ensuring preservation of the condition of the package product.
• For heavier goods, such as gas cookers, televisions, garden and domestic appliances, packaging principally serves a protective function.
• We can also produce boxes with antistatic liners for packaging goods sensitive to electrical discharge.
