Paper Producers Raising Prices
In a few weeks packaging materials will become considerably more expensive in Europe and thus in Hungary too. Producers will raise prices in two stages.
The European packaging producers will raise prices in all sectors from June, and this will spiral onwards into Hungary as well. Cardboard prices will increase by ten percent, while sack, bag and corrugated paper prices will rise by 11-13 percent. This means an approximately six-percent cost increase in the finished product.
