Dear Reader!

This is the third year when Dunapack Ltd. publishes its yearly Environmental Report. The main topic of this year’s report is the environmental impact of our products. On the following pages we will present how we accomplish in practice the principals and long term objectives set forth in our environmental policy which is part of the integrated management policy. We will take a look at the whole life cycle of our products (from the raw materials through the production to the end-of-life stage and recycling) and make a comparison of the environmental impacts caused through the whole life cycle with other alternative products. We will introduce our results in reducing these environmental impacts and our objectives for the upcoming years.

Besides these, we will also present the development of our integrated management system, the fulfilment of our objectives stated for the year 2001, and give an overview of our objectives for the year 2002.

Of course, this year’s Environmental Report will present the facts as well, since we know that the efficiency of our efforts can only be judged by measurable reduction of our environmental impacts. At the end of the Report, we will summarise our most important environmental indicators from the last year.

We hope that our results and efforts presented on the following pages will confirm the adequacy of our belief that the conscious and responsible management of environmental aspects is in line with economical interests.
